The short version

RegistryFee is a free calculator site. You don't create an account, we don't ask for your name or email, and every calculation runs in your own browser — the vehicle prices, business details, or license selections you enter are never sent to our servers or stored anywhere.

What we collect

We use privacy-friendly web analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic — which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and what devices they use. This data is anonymized, is not used to identify individuals, and does not follow you across other websites.

Advertising & cookies

RegistryFee is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense to display ads. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technology to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to our site and/or other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info. Visitors in the EU/UK and California are shown a consent choice before personalized ads are served. Ads never receive personal information you enter into our calculators.

Some pages also contain affiliate links, clearly labeled "Advertisement." Third-party links

State pages link to official government websites (DMVs, Secretaries of State, wildlife agencies). Those sites have their own privacy policies — we're not responsible for their practices.

Our data promise

The fee data we publish comes from official state sources and statutes, with the review date shown on every page. Estimates are informational only — always confirm with the relevant agency before making financial decisions.
